Primordial Magnetic fields (PMFs)

Dark matter minihalos from primordial magnetic fields: PMFs tend to enhance plasma density perturbations before recombination. I show that these enhanced density perturbations gravitationally enhances the abundance of dark matter minihalos, which can potentially be observed. Thus, ironically, we can use the invisible component of our universe to search for a visible component.

Enhancing baryon fraction of high-$z$ structures with PMFs : Since PMFs enhance baryon density perturbations, the standard narrative of structure formation can be quite different. Specifically, instead of baryons falling into dark matter potential wells, one has dark matter falling into baryon potential well. Here we show that this can lead to enhanced baryon fraction in galaxies at high redshifts.

Numerically evaluating matter power spectrum induced by PMFs: Here we perform MHD simulations to to numerically evaluate how PMFs enhance matter power spectrum after recombination. This study specifically focusses on scales larger than the scales relevant for dark matter minihalos discussed in the first study.
